Our Mission
Our mission is to provide essential resources like clothing, toys, and support to children in need. We aim to ensure every child feels valued and cared for, especially those facing disabilities, immunocompromised, or experiencing financial harships.
Our Impact
At Counts for Kids, it's more than just donating toys and setting up for events. We want to bring a smile to every child no matter what they're going through, and we accomplish that through spreading joy. We've collected over 300 cards, dozens of toys, and seen countless smiles. It's not about the numbers though, Our face painting stands and craft-making stations speak for themselvesWe thank institutions like the Levine's Children Hospital and neighborhoods like Brookhaven for giving us a space to spread kindness.
About Us
Our founder Angel Chang, started this non-profit as a sophomore in the Weddington area as a way to share positivity around her. She formed a team of like-minded people who now make up the Counts For Kids team. The C4K is made up of high-school students who plan events, make posts, and reach out to organizations.
